Hassan Munir is the Senior Accountant at Massey Capital where he has senior finance and accounting responsibility for a portfolio of companies.
Munir has a +12-year diverse background in Finance & Accounting from the accounting, manufacturing and distribution industries.
From 2019 to 2023, Munir served as Corporate Accountant at 4D Technologies where he managed financial planning and budgeting including SRED reviews. Prior to that, Munir held senior financial roles at Sony Corporation (UK) and ABS Accountants (UK) where he worked closely with Members of the European Parliament.
Munir, an ACCA UK and CPA finalist, holds a Master of Accounting and Finance degree from the University of Dundee. He lives in Milton with his wife and 2 young kids. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family, travelling and reading.
Eric Strychaluk is a Partner at Massey Capital where he leads manufacturing operations across the entire portfolio of companies.
Strychaluk is a manufacturing veteran with a +35 year background in the design and manufacturing of custom niche architectural products using a wide variety of processes and CNC equipment in sheet metal fabrication, millwork, machining, custom glass & stone and electronics.
Prior to joining Massey Capital, Strychaluk co-founded Mainline Industries in 1987 – starting in the tool & die industry and eventually a manufacturer of custom elevator interiors and signal control fixtures. In 2004 Mainline partnered with DMG Spa of Rome, Italy, a market leader in Europe, to create MAD Elevator Inc. which has since grown to be North America’s largest fixture supplier with over +300 employees. The DMG group is now a global vendor to elevator industry OEM’s with manufacturing facilities in Italy, France, India, Germany and China and customers in over 50 countries.
Eric is holds a B.Sc in Earth Sciences from Brock University and resides in Toronto with his wife Sandra.
Patrick Alpaugh is an Analyst at Massey Capital and is involved in evaluating, modelling and due diligence of platform and bolt-on acquisitions. He also works closely alongside our portfolio companies in areas that include sales, operations improvement and market research.
Currently, Alpaugh is working on platform acquisition due diligence as well as conducting analysis and research to identify new bolt-on acquisitions. His work also includes preparing financial models for potential platform and bolt-on acquisitions.
Previously, Alpaugh has worked for Allturf Ltd. and Dol Turf Restoration where his projects have included specialized sales, logistics and turf management.
Alpaugh completed his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a research specialist concentration from Wilfrid Laurier University in 2020. He also completed an associate’s degree in Turfgrass Management in 2021. He currently lives in Barrie and enjoys playing hockey and golf, skateboarding and reading.
Carol Dowler is the Human Resource Business Partner at Massey Capital. She holds overall HR responsibility for Massey Capital and its portfolio of companies.
Dowler has over 20 years of Human Resources experience in various industries including construction, consumer electronics & technology, loyalty and consumer packaged goods.
Dowler’s expertise lies in people strategy, full cycle recruitment, performance management, training & development, compensation & benefits management, and health & safety, with a strong focus on employee relations & engagement. Dowler places a large emphasis on each employee’s complete employment experience. She guides and encourages all levels of staff to perform at their very best to achieve business goals. Her ability to engage, consult and coach all levels in the organization in a professional and caring manner is one of her greatest assets. Her good sense of humour helps as well!
Carol holds a degree in Business Administration from Sheridan College and is a passionate soccer fan and a frequent traveler who appreciates experiencing different religions, cultures, languages as well as food!
Rica Lam is a Corporate Analyst at Massey Capital executing on projects across the portfolio in areas that include M&A, business development, treasury, marketing and finance.
Lam’s projects at Massey Capital have included (i) supporting evaluating, modelling, due diligence, negotiating and closing the acquisition of Signature Plastics Ltd. (ii) preparing financial models and conducting industry/competitor analysis for potential platform acquisitions, (iii) the implementation of new systems and processes at our head office and (iv) launching marketing campaigns and managing marketing initiatives for Massey Capital and its portfolio companies.
Lam completed her Bachelor of Medical Sciences, Honours Specialization in Interdisciplinary Medical Sciences from the University of Western Ontario in 2019. She currently lives in Toronto and enjoys cycling and spending time outdoors with her friends and family.
Sandra Kosziwka is the Director of Finance at Massey Capital where she has overall finance, accounting and treasury responsibility for all portfolio companies.
Kosziwka has an extensive +20-year background in Finance & Accounting including controllership, treasury, financial planning & analyses, and process reengineering.
From 2001 to 2016, Kosziwka held Senior Manager positions in the Finance and Technology areas of CIBC and TD where she provided complex financial planning and analyses support to the Technology, Risk and Enterprise Architecture teams. Prior to joining the financial industry, she held various financial positions at Mount Sinai Hospital, The Mortgage Insurance Company of Canada, Progressive Insurance and Jim Pattison Sign Group.
Kosziwka, a CMA, holds a Bachelor of Administrative & Commercial Studies degree from the University of Western Ontario. She lives in the Beaches neighborhood in Toronto with her husband Roman and enjoys bike trips, canoe tripping, travelling and yoga.
Zahra Al-Wasiti is the Marketing Manager at Massey Capital where she has overall marketing responsibility for a portfolio of companies.
Al-Wasiti is an experienced strategic business marketing manager who has a passion for delivering effective multi-channel marketing campaigns. Her diverse background includes working with small and mid-market companies in the manufacturing, CNC, distribution, and consumer packaged goods industries.
With over 12 years of experience, Zahra’s expertise lies in shaping and executing the vision for growth marketing to drive customer acquisition and new product adoption via strategic marketing initiatives that include; digital marketing, lead generation, social media, product marketing, email and brand marketing management.
Prior to joining Massey Capital, Al-Wasiti has senior marketing roles at Mikon Machinery Ltd, MPLC Ltd and NRS Converting Ltd.
Zahra holds an Executive MBA degree from Ivey Business School in London, Ontario. She currently lives in Toronto and enjoys reading, watching movies and travelling.
John Kosziwka is an Operations Analyst at Massey Capital working alongside our portfolio companies performing tasks across all facets of our businesses including operational efficiency, financial analysis, and project management.
John is currently working as an Operations Analyst for A.O. Wilson, a leading supplier in the Canadian beverage industry. His primary responsibilities include (i) assisting in the smooth transition of new platform and/or bolt-on acquisitions; and (ii) supporting management teams in the research, design & execution of operational efficiency projects in areas such as purchasing, finance, pre-production, production.
Previously, John worked at Dol Turf, where he assisted in a large project involving the restructuring of the company’s costing and quoting system.
Kosziwka completed his Bachelor of Economics from Guelph University in 2018. He lives in Erin and enjoys sports, good food, and cottage weekends.

Practiced as a Management Consultant at Deloitte Consulting as part of its Strategy & Operations practice. He served large enterprise clients in retail, oil & gas and public sector specializing in post M&A integration, cost reduction and revenue enhancement initiatives.
Spent the early part of his career at Cintas Corporation (NDQ: CTAS), a leading multinational facility services provider where he rose through the general management ranks to take on a number of progressive market and regional leadership positions.

Andrea Bocanegra is the Director of Human Resources where she has overall talent management, health and safety, talent acquisition and employee relations responsibility for Massey Capital and its full portfolio of companies.
Bocanegra is a Human Resources professional with over 25 years of international experience, the last 16 developed in Canada. Her passion is building HR capacity through diversity, inclusion, equity, compliance, and innovation.
Prior to joining Massey Capital, Bocanegra held senior leadership roles at Kellogg’s, GFP/Georgia Pacific, DDI, Yamana Gold and Colt Automation. She possesses an entrepreneurial, collaborative, tactical and strategic growth mindset.
Bocanegra holds a Bachelor of Sciences of Education from the University of Buenos Aires, Argentina, a Master’s in HR Management from IDEA, Buenos Aires, Argentina, and a postgraduate degree in Human Resources Strategy from the University of Berkely California. She is also certified as a Senior Professional in Human Resources. Bocanegra is an active member of many prominent HR organizations, including the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM). She is also a College Lecturer, and a Certified SuccessFinder Practitioner, among other HR certifications.
Bocanegra also enjoys mentoring and developing teams where she shares her knowledge and passion for HR. Mehta has an extensive +30-year background with a proven track record leading finance teams in manufacturing, distribution, and service companies.
From, 1988 to 2018, Mehta held Senior Manager positions in Finance at Eurofase Inc., a wholesaler of lighting products, Egan Visual Corporation, a manufacturer of visual communication systems, Artaflex Inc., an electronics manufacturer, Alcan Packaging Weston, a $23 billion multi-national manufacturer of aluminum and packaging products, Genpak LP, a flexographic printing/packaging manufacturer with $50M+ annual sales, The Benson Group of Companies, a manufacturing and distribution company with $30M+ annual sales & Digital Media Networks Corporation, a satellite information service company with $5M+ annual sales.

From 2012 to 2016, Kocur served as Regional President at FirstService Corporation (TSX:FSV) – the largest residential property management firm in the world. From 2003 to 2011, he held a variety of positions at FSV including SVP Strategy & Corporate Development and Managing Director, Corporate Development. Prior to joining FSV, Kocur spent five years at Geac Computer Corporation Limited (TSX:GAC), one of the largest technology companies in Canada, where he served as Director, Global M&A, Group Controller, and Director, Global Financial Planning & Analysis. An industry veteran, he previously held senior financial positions at subsidiaries of Jim Pattison Group and Canadian Tire, and began his career at PWC.

CTL Corp, an indirect non-prime auto finance firm. As its President and COO, Newhouse was instrumental in building the platform and forming the team that grew the portfolio from $0 in 2010 to $180 million in 2015. CTL (now iA Auto Finance) was acquired by Industrial Alliance in 2015.
Harmony Management, a property management and cleaning services provider. As President and CEO, Newhouse built the firm from 0 units in 2012 to 6,500, 35,000 hours of annual cleaning and $3.9 billion in real estate assets under management. Harmony was sold to Associa headquartered in Dallas, TX, the largest residential property management firm in North America.
S & S Properties Group, a real estate investment group specializing in multi-unit student residential properties. As Managing Partner, Newhouse grew the portfolio to over 80 units from 1998-2016, with multiple “build and flips” each year. Newhouse sold the majority of its holdings in 2016 to a London land developer.
Versara, a specialty finance firm focused in personal injury litigation financing. As a Partner in Versara, Newhouse helped develop a strong performing and sizeable book of loans. Versara was acquired by a private equity firm in 2016.
Prior to founding the above companies, Newhouse was Vice President of FirstService Residential, Ontario (TSX:FSV). In this role, Newhouse was oversaw the management of 40,000+ units (asset value of $14 billion) in the Province of Ontario. In this role, Newhouse was instrumental in starting up the Residences of the Ritz Carlton, Toronto.

Chaudhry has +8-year diverse background in Finance & Accounting from the property management, vehicle financing industries and auto repair industries. Chaudhry held senior financial roles at Industrial Alliance Auto Finance (formerly CTL), Harmony Management Ltd. and Canadian Auto Repair Holdings Inc.
Chaudhry is a CPA, CA and holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Toronto. Chaudhry lives in Oakville with her husband, 2 young kids and enjoys travelling and cooking in her free time.
Andrew Kocur is a Senior Associate at Massey Capital with overall responsibility for sourcing, evaluating, modelling, due diligence, negotiating and closing all platform and bolt-on acquisitions.
Kocur works closely with Massey Capital’s operations, finance, legal, tax, engineering, technology, HR and insurance teams throughout every deal process. Kocur has strong relationships with lenders and is responsible for securing optimal senior debt financing structures when needed.

He was a member of the McMaster Marauders Varsity Volleyball team that won 4 OUA provincial gold medals, 4 CIS national medals and was selected as a CIS All-Canadian in 2016. He currently lives in Toronto and enjoys playing sports, camping and travelling.
Sami Masri is a Senior Associate at Massey Capital where he has responsibility for operations engineering and finance projects. Concurrently, Masri is Vice President of Sales & Operations and equity partner at Standard Metal, one of Massey Capital’s portfolio companies.
Considered Massey Capital’s operational “swiss army knife”, Masri enjoys problem solving, building culture, engaging clients, and leveraging the power of technology
Prior to joining Massey Capital, Masri was (i) a member of the debt advisory team at 4Front Capital Partners (ii) at RBC Capital Markets in derivative transactions that included interest rate, options, equity and structured products and (iii) an Associate at Monarch Wealth. Masri began his career at CIBC on an enterprise technology project team.
Masri holds a B.A. Honours degree in Economics from Carleton University. He lives in Toronto with his wife Ashley and enjoys cycling, travelling and cooking backyard feasts on his smoker barbeque.
Connor Santoni is an Operations Analyst at Massey Capital working alongside our portfolio companies performing tasks across all facets of the business including market analysis for sales generation, marketing campaigns and operations.
Concurrently, Santoni is Operations Manager at Whiteboard.com, a new e-commerce start-up division owned by one of Massey Capital’s portfolio companies.
Over the past 2 years, Santoni has worked at numerous Massey portfolio companies including long tenures at Standard Metal Hardware Ltd., and MSU Mississauga Ltd. His projects have included sales lead generation, marketing initiatives, inventory management, and process re-engineering.
Santoni completed his Bachelor of Commerce with a Minor in Economics from McMaster University in 2019. He was a member of the McMaster Men’s Varsity Volleyball team that won 4 OUA gold medals and 4 CIS medals. Santoni was a two time Captain and named an Academic All-Canadian for both the 2017-18, and 2018-19 seasons. He currently lives in Toronto and enjoys sports, and spending time with his friends and family.
