SMS Machine Tools Limited Participates in 2023 Canadian Manufacturing Technology Show
The Canadian Manufacturing Technology Show (“CMTS”) has long been a place where industry leaders come together to showcase the latest advancements in manufacturing technology. One of Massey Capital’s portfolio companies, SMS Machine Tools Limited (“SMS”) has been a part of the CMTS show since the show’s inception over 40 years ago. Each year, SMS Machine Tools showcases their latest machines at the CMTS, providing their customers the perfect opportunity to see them in action.
This year, SMS displayed seven machines – a combination of state-of-the-art offerings from Hyundai-Wia, Microdynamics, Hanwha, Okamoto and more. These machines represent a diverse range of manufacturing processes, from precision turning and milling, to high-speed machining and automation solutions.
Perhaps the most exciting showing from SMS at CMTS 2023 was their brand-new robotic line, Cubebox Robotic Systems. This line is designed to seamlessly integrate with a facility’s existing manufacturing processes and machines and is a perfect way to easily introduce automation to any manufacturing facility.
